As part of efforts at making a literate
society and facilitating manpower development in Nigeria,
the Nigerian Book Fair Trust organises the annual Nigeria
International Book Fair that attracts people from all
walks of life. It also stages National Book Fairs in the
regions of the country to actualise its vision of bringing
books closer to the people for better education and
self–improvement.
In the course of the book fairs, times
are devoted to conferences and seminars on topical and
relevant issues that affect individual, corporate,
industrial and national life. Submissions at such fora are
compiled and published yearly to give wider circulation to
the shared views on the chosen theme. The publications are
